
Joy Alexander
Joy is a paralegal at the Jungle. She focuses on employment law, discrimination and #metoo cases.
Joy has previous experience working for firms in personal injury. She enjoys building strong relationships with clients. She is also passionate about animal welfare, and volunteers with local rescue groups regularly.
Joy is proud to have researched and drafted legislation with state representatives for Jungle Law’s “Release the Hounds,” a bill that will increase penalties for animal abusers. It is currently pending before the Missouri Senate.
When she isn't working, Joy enjoys writing, reading, hiking, and watching the Chiefs win! Her least favorite things are grammar mistakes, people who drive slow in the fast lane, and social injustices.
Joy lives in Kansas City with her Red Heeler, Sasha.
